The sooner a united Europe stops Putin, the less human, political, and economic losses it will face. This, speaking at a meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, said Petro Poroshenko. He called on European partners for the most stringent sanctions against Russia and strong support for our state.

"Our fight can only last a few weeks if all decisive actions are taken immediately. Or it can last for years if only half a step is taken. With more devastating economic consequences, primarily for Europe. Let's stop Putin in Ukraine and fight back with his military plans in other countries", Poroshenko emphasized.

The Fifth President noted the priority steps on the part of the OSCE:

  • Immediate and unconditional ceasefire.

  • Creation of humanitarian corridors on the territory of Ukraine with unhindered access for international humanitarian organizations.

  • Withdrawal of Russian armed forces from the internationally recognized borders of the territory of Ukraine has been confirmed by international observers. I mean also the Crimea.

  • Return of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine.

  • Access of international humanitarian organizations to the affected areas to assess the extent of destruction and losses, as well as to search for and identify dead and missing persons.

"Every day there must be new sanctions. Every day of half-measures and hesitation leads to dozens of lost lives of Ukrainians. Disconnect all Russian and Belarusian banks from SWIFT, ban energy imports. Stop sending half a billion euros to Russia every day", Poroshenko urged.

"As for additional financial and economic support for post-war reconstruction, I ask you to think about a kind of Marshall Plan for Ukraine", Petro Poroshenko said.

He also called on Europeans to come to Ukraine and see with their own eyes the consequences of Russian aggression.

"Come to Ukraine to see and feel what war is. And prevent it in your countries. Stand up for Ukraine on our soil to see the atrocities of Russian aggressors. And prevent their invasion of your countries. Join the Ukrainian struggle to feel the spirit of Ukrainians, our devotion to common values, to remind ourselves that we must fight for our values because they should not be taken for granted", Poroshenko said.

"Let's defeat Putin in Ukraine today and save the world for generations! The time for hesitation is over", the fifth president is convinced.
