Three times more than Ukraine: Oryx calculated Russian equipment lost in war
Russian army lost almost 10,000 units of equipment in Ukraine, especially tanks and IFVs – three times more than the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The total losses of the Russian forces amounted to 9,441 units of military equipment, including tanks, aircraft, armored personnel carriers, anti-tank missiles, etc. 6,007 of them were destroyed and more than 2,700 were captured by the AFU, the rest was damaged or abandoned.
Ukraine's losses amount to about 3,000 units of equipment.
Tanks: Russia – nearly 1,800; Ukraine – more than 450.
IFV: Russia – 2,100; Ukraine – 500.
AFV: Russia – 800; Ukraine – just under 300.
APC: Russia – 300; Ukraine – approx. 220.
IMV: Ukraine lost more – almost 300; Russia – 200.
Command posts: Russia – 200; Ukraine – 10.
Engineering: Ukraine – 300; Russia – 50.
Towed artillery: Russia – 280; Ukraine – 100.
Self-propelled artillery: Russia – 350; Ukraine – 110.
MLRS: Russia – 200; Ukraine – about 40.
Helicopters: Russia – approx. 90; Ukraine – approx. 20.
Oryx analysts counted almost the same number of aircraft lost on both sides – less than a hundred in Ukraine and in Russia.
