He emphasized that the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces are continuously evolving, as this is one of the key tasks of the agency.
“R&D is an innovative activity of the command, which involves several directions. One of them, in terms of countering enemy aircraft and unmanned aerial systems, including finding solutions to combat Shaheds, has led us to teams actively working on this. And yes, I repeat—laser technologies are already striking specific targets at certain altitudes,” Sukharevskyi noted.
- In the six months since their establishment, the Unmanned Systems Forces have carried out more than 220 operations deep inside Russian territory, using over 3,500 drones.
