Belarus conducts combat readiness check, tests new drone tactics
On Monday, February 3, Belarus announced the start of a combat readiness check of its army, including tests of new methods for using reconnaissance and strike drones
Belarus's Ministry of Defense reported the information.
The inspection will assess the readiness and capability of mechanized military units to carry out their designated tasks.
"Personnel, including reservists called up for duty, must complete the full range of measures to prepare weapons, military, and specialized equipment for deployment and move to designated areas," Belarus's Defense Ministry stated.
Key practical exercises will take place during drills and training sessions of various scales at training grounds and unfamiliar terrain.
"As part of the inspection, new methods of employing reconnaissance and strike UAV systems will be tested in joint operations with ground forces and with the active use of electronic warfare systems," the statement said.
