The Senate of the Republic of Poland unanimously adopted a resolution on accelerating Ukraine's accession to the European Union

This was reported on the official website of the Chancellery of the Senate of Poland.

"Ukrainian society has undeniably proved that it is ready to be part of a united Europe and is ready to pay with blood for its adherence to European values", the senators emphasize.

The Upper House of the Polish Parliament calls on all EU member states to support the accelerated process of Ukraine's integration into the EU. According to the Senate, the full membership of Ukraine in the Community is a moral obligation of the modern generation of Europeans.

"Defending the borders of his country, the Ukrainian warrior protects the whole of Europe", the resolution says.

"The Senate of the Republic of Poland expresses its deepest objections to the brutal methods used in this war waged by the Russian Federation against the Ukrainian state and people", the senators note.
