The head of the Kherson OVA Gennady Laguta reported about it in the Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The racists began to mine Kherson. Eyewitnesses report that they installed "stretch marks" in the center of the city - near the building of TRK "Scythia". "Where else did the Russian occupiers leave such 'gifts' is unknown," Laguta said.

Kherson OVA urges citizens to move carefully and look under their feet, especially when the area has tall grass.

"If you still see the explosive - do not touch it under any circumstances. It can detonate and kill or maim you. Report her whereabouts to law enforcement. Share this information, because it can save health and lives, "the head of the region added.

As Ukrinform reported, street fights took place in Kherson on March 1, and the Russian enemy fired on residential neighborhoods. City Hall has released preliminary information about those killed in the attack by the aggressor; data collection to establish the exact number of killed and their identification continues.

On March 3, the head of the regional state administration announced that the building of the Kherson regional state administration had been occupied by the enemy. At the same time, the mayor of Kherson informed that the Kherson City Hall has a headquarters for life support, the Ukrainian flag is over the city, and all deputies and officials have been warned about the responsibility for treason.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops are shelling and destroying infrastructure, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, rocket-propelled grenades and ballistic missiles.
