"Negotiations between Putin and Zelensky can be in two cases: it is either the restoration of our territorial integrity or capitulation. Everything else is intermediate stages", Chaly said on Espresso.TV.

Chaly noted: "There is a common position of diplomats, as well as a statement by the Foreign Policy Association, which says that the Russian Foreign Ministry and its head have completely degraded. Therefore, now it is necessary to look for solutions for a mediator, that is, a country that can negotiate on humanitarian issues, and the rest should be handled by the military delegation".

He also added that the meeting between Putin and Zelensky can only be under two conditions: “Either we go to our borders, territorial integrity is restored, and defense and counteroffensive bring results - and then there will be negotiations or capitulation. Everything else is intermediate stages, Russia will use them to deliver strikes. This is not just a forecast, I have repeatedly participated in negotiations with Putin during the hostilities of Russia and Ukraine, this is advice", Chaly said.
