Su-30 fighter jet crashes in Russia’s Kaliningrad region, killing crew
On August 12, a Su-30 fighter jet crashed near the Russian city of Kaliningrad reportedly due to a technical malfunction, killing all crew members

The fighter jet crashed during a training flight in the Kaliningrad region in a deserted area.
According to the Russian media, the crew died.
They add that the flight was carried out without ammunition. According to preliminary information, the crash was caused by a technical malfunction.
Later, the Russian Telegram channel 112 provided details of the Su-30 crash. They noted that the fighter jet went down in the Chernyakhovsky district of the Kaliningrad region. According to them, the crew died because they did not have time to eject.
Before the crash, the Su-30 descended, then an explosion was heard in the air, the aircraft tilted and fell. The fighter jet almost completely burned down.
The Telegram channel also published a video of what is likely to be the moment the Russian fighter jet crashed.
