Russian army suffers losses in Kharkiv sector, withdraws reserves from Luhansk region
Roman Vlasenko, head of the Sievierodonetsk District Military Administration, says that the intensity of Russian military operations has decreased in the Luhansk region
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Amid the Kharkiv operation, we've seen a reduction in hostilities in the Luhansk region. It appears the occupying forces are taking significant hits in the Kharkiv region, prompting them to pull back reserves from the northern part of Luhansk region. Equipment and personnel are being withdrawn, indicating a reinforcement of the Kharkiv front. This underscores substantial Russian losses there,'' Vlasenko stated.
He noted that while the occupying forces continue to shell Luhansk region, the frequency of assaults has lessened.
"Russian Federation aviation and artillery are active, particularly in areas like Stelmakhivka, Serebrianka Forestry, and Bilohorivka. However, there haven't been any major shifts. Our soldiers are holding their ground," emphasized Vlasenko.
- Since the onset of heightened offensive actions in the Kharkiv region, the occupying Russian army has only advanced about 8 kilometers from the border. They persist in attacking across nearly the entire front line, focusing their efforts primarily on the Pokrovsk and Kupyansk directions.
