The security agreement between the US and Ukraine demonstrates to the world and to Putin that many countries will continue to help Ukraine and will do so in the long term to deter Russia
This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at a press conference with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
"We must help Ukraine protect its soldiers and civilians. For us, ending the war is a special priority. That's why we are looking for where to find these Patriot systems, which are so necessary today. Another issue we discussed was a bilateral security agreement between the US and Ukraine. We know that 32 countries have already discussed or will discuss concluding such agreements with Ukraine in the near future," Blinken said.
According to the US Secretary of State, the future bilateral security agreement between the US and Ukraine will ensure the security of the future in the next 10 years.
"We have worked productively with our teams and are finalizing the deal. We will have the text of the agreement soon, and in a few weeks we will sign it. This demonstrates to the world and to Putin that many countries will continue to help Ukraine and will do so in the long term to deter Russia," Blinken said.
