He noted that he had heard a detailed report from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commanders of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group Yuriy Sodol and the Kharkiv operational-tactical group Mykhailo Drapaty.

"The operational situation, tasks and needs of each involved brigade, each unit, in particular in the Kharkiv region, in the areas of Vovchansk and Lyptsi," he wrote.

The President said that the meeting analyzed the prospects of the combat situation, threats in the coming days and weeks, and opportunities to counter the Russian offensive.

"As of today, the situation in the Kharkiv region is generally under control, our soldiers are inflicting significant losses on the occupier. However, the area remains extremely difficult - we are reinforcing our units," the statement said.

The heads of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Foreign Intelligence Service reported on Russia's intentions.

"The Head of the SBU spoke about counter-sabotage measures. A plan of further actions has been determined - both for the regional authorities of the Kharkiv region and for all structures responsible for security in the region. I heard reports from regional authorities from other border and frontline regions: the current situation, the main risks, and key needs. I gave appropriate instructions," Zelenskyy added.
