This was reported by Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the AHILLES battalion of strike unmanned aerial systems of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Ivan Sirko, on the Espreso TV channel.

"It is important to understand that the enemy has a small time window - a month and a half, when the Defense Forces will receive the maximum amount of equipment as part of general military assistance. Then, in most areas, we will be able to deprive the enemy of attack and assault operations. That's why the enemy will be quite active in attack and assault operations in the Kharkiv region for the next month and a half.

The Russians will use their reserves and all available weapons. This needs to be understood, particularly by Kharkiv residents. You need to listen to the sirens, be as attentive and cautious as possible, avoid crowded places and still try to take care of yourself from a security perspective. Everyone is used to the war, used to the hits, but you should always go to the shelter," Fedorenko said.

Russian aggressor intends to completely destroy Ukrainian statehood. The enemy has a phased occupation of Ukrainian territories, says the 92nd Brigade commander.

"The Russians still have these ambitions to this day. Donetsk and Luhansk regions remain the priority areas. In order for the enemy to move as actively as possible in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, they needed to pull a certain amount of forces and equipment that took part in the fighting in these areas to another place. Information propaganda in the Russian Federation supports this, saying that Kharkiv is a very important place. That is why they started crossing the state border and storming positions in the Kharkiv region. It is also an extremely important strategic city for us. Therefore, one way or another, the Defense Forces will deploy reserves there," Fedorenko added.

In his opinion, Russian enemy will not have significant tactical success on the battlefield.

"We have been preparing to meet the enemy. This applies to engineering and fortification structures and the number of forces and means involved in the defense of Kharkiv region. Also, thanks to international military assistance, we will be able to hit the enemy's main assets more thoroughly. This includes aviation, which uses guided aerial bombs and various launchers that shell both the city of Kharkiv and the frontline area. So it will be difficult, but we will definitely withstand," he said.

  • In the evening report of the General Staff on May 15, it was stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had partially pushed the Russian forces out of the city
