According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russian soldiers have been ordered to burn all inoperable military vehicles that require repairs.
"The Russians are facing issues evacuating military property by sea — their ships still don’t have permission to enter the port of Tartus," the Ukraine's intelligence stated.
On January 9, Russian Rear Admiral Valery Varfolomeyev made yet another unsuccessful attempt to secure an agreement — he wasn’t even allowed to join the negotiations.
- The Russian ships are unable to dock at Tartus because the new Syrian authorities haven’t granted them permission.
