Ukrainian troops have partially driven Russians out of Vovchansk

Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Dmytro Lazutkin said that some Russian infantry groups had entered Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. The General Staff reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had partially pushed the Russians out of the city. Later, it became known that the Russians were trying to push the Ukrainian defenders' units in the area of Vovchansk.

"Four combat engagements took place in the Kharkiv sector. Russia is trying to push our units in the area of Vovchansk. Our soldiers are fighting back, firing to kill, and continue to comb the northwestern outskirts of the city," the statement said.

Senior Lieutenant Dmytro Lazutkin said that Ukrainian FPV drones and artillery are working effectively, and the Russians are dying in large numbers on the approaches and in Vovchansk itself.

"When they bring infantry with vehicles, this equipment is destroyed in quite large numbers," said Dmytro Lazutkin, Army Inform reports.

Russian artillery reconnaissance and counter-battery complex Zoopark-1 destroyed

Ukrainian soldiers used a Vampire bomber to destroy a Russian camouflaged artillery reconnaissance and counter-battery complex Zoopark-1 in the Donetsk region, Ukraine's State Border Guard Service reports.

Aerial reconnaissance of the Revenge Brigade discovered a camouflaged armored combat vehicle near the village of Kodema.

"The fighters entrusted the Vampire bomber with the mission to deliver gifts to the inhabitants of the Zoopark. And it coped with it perfectly.”

The US announces additional assistance to Ukraine worth $2 billion

The United States has announced $2 billion in aid to Ukraine. The aid will also include a fund for defense companies, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at a briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv.

"We have additional help on the way. In fact, some aid has already arrived. But I want to add to that by announcing that we will provide an additional $2 billion in financial and military assistance to Ukraine," Blinken said.

The assistance includes the creation of a first-of-its-kind fund for defense companies that will work to deliver weapons to the Ukrainian Defense Forces as soon as possible, invest in the country's defense industry, and purchase weapons from other countries.

The aid package from Australia will include modern Sentinel 830R RHIB boats

Ukraine's Ambassador to Australia Vasyl Miroshnychenko says that the $100 million military aid package for Ukraine announced by the Australian government will include a batch of modern Sentinel 830R RHIB boats.

"While in Hobart, in addition to presentations at the Tasmanian Club and the Royal United Services Institute, I also had the opportunity to inspect the boats manufactured for Ukraine by the innovative Tassie Sentinel company. They are part of a new package of assistance to Ukraine from the Australian government," the statement says.

Such boats, which can perform tasks in both rivers and the open sea, will help Ukraine.

"The 830R can be deployed quickly and requires minimal maintenance, which ensures greater operational readiness when Ukrainian forces need it," said the CEO of Sentinel Boats.
