Russians will make every effort to destroy everything Ukrainian - historian Kulyk

He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV. 

“I believe that the genocide of Ukrainians has been going on for over 100 years. The Russians are ready to make every effort to destroy everything related to Ukrainians and Ukraine. For Russians, Ukraine is a non-state, and Ukrainians are just like them. Therefore, the Russians will do everything they can to ensure that Ukraine does not exist. They have been doing this for a long time,” Kulyk emphasized.

The historian explained that the Russians systematically killed Ukrainians only for their national identity.

“To understand exactly how the Russians destroyed Ukrainians, it is worth looking at the archives. 8 years ago, the state archive of the Sumy region found a death certificate for a 19-year-old collective farmer named Andrii Ostapenko. The act is dated May 1933, during the Holodomor. The cause of death was not exhaustion and starvation, but one short Ukrainian word. These are examples of how the Russians are trying to destroy our nation,” he added.
