Russians take Ukrainian children to Dagestan – former Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Kuleba
Mykola Kuleba, former Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights and founder of the Save Ukraine Foundation, has emphasized that the occupying Russian forces are abducting and forcibly deporting Ukrainian children
He said this on Espreso TV.
“Russia is committing genocide against Ukrainian children. The invading Russian forces are abducting and forcibly deporting our children. They continue to take Ukrainian children en masse from the occupied territories to the territory of the Russian Federation. Families are informed that their children are being taken to remote towns in the Kherson region and to Crimea. However, there is information that children were taken to Dagestan and Krasnodar Krai,” noted Kuleba.
According to the former Ukrainian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights, the Russian strategy is aimed at destroying Ukrainian identity.
“We are talking about hundreds and thousands of Ukrainian children from the occupied territories. Under the pretext of a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russians are trying to take as many Ukrainian children as possible to the territory of the Russian Federation. Children are taken to different parts of Russia where there are empty houses. The invaders are sending our children to Russian schools for the purpose of Russification. The Russian strategy is aimed at destroying the Ukrainian identity,” Kuleba emphasized.
