Russian forces are preparing "nuclear provocations" at Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in the near future
Andriy Yusov, the representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, reported the information on May 26.
Russian troops aim to complicate the liberation of the occupied territories for the Ukrainian security and defense forces.
"The goal is to complicate the liberation of the occupied territories for our security and defense forces. They are planning to appeal to international organizations to cover their primitive Gestapo-like psyops, but they will not succeed. Enerhodar is ours!" the statement reads.
The head of the occupation council of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporizhzhia region, Volodymyr Rohov, said that Ukraine is allegedly preparing a provocation at ZNPP to stop the work of the IAEA mission at the plant.

In recent weeks, the Russian military has been strengthening its defensive positions at the occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in anticipation of a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian army.
