Russians invaded the gas transmission system, there is a threat of gas supply to Europe, - GTS operator

This was announced by the Operator of the gas transmission system of Ukraine.

"OGTSU reports on attempts by Russian military and armed groups" LNR "to enter the territory of compressor stations Novopskov Luhansk region, Kupyansk Kharkiv region, as well as to interfere in the work of GTS facilities," - said in a statement.

The company emphasizes that interference in the technological processes of the GTS poses significant risks to the safety of continuous gas transportation to consumers in Ukraine and Europe, and could lead to a technological catastrophe in the region.

The company reported the emergency situation and threat to law enforcement agencies, authorized state authorities, as well as Gazprom. The GTS operator demands that the occupiers immediately leave the territory of the compressor stations and stop any attempts to influence the operation of the GTS.

We remind that on the night of March 10 the Russian-occupying troops fired at the city of Chernihiv. Locals were left without heating and gas.
