Russians in occupied territories start new wave of searches with total inspections – Zaporizhzhia regional council deputy Lyshenko
In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russians are raiding villages to find those who help the Ukrainian army and guerrillas
Serhiy Lyshenko, a deputy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Russian security forces are coming and looking for those who can cooperate with the Ukrainian army - not only guerrillas. Those who give information, pass on the location of the occupiers. There have been cases when Russians change their location, quickly move into a farmer's hangar, transport equipment, and are targeted specifically and precisely the same night," he said.
Lyshenko added that Russians understand that this is impossible without the active cooperation and assistance of locals who pass on information.
"The new mopping up operations mean that, as a rule, FSB officers with a large group of military support come to the village. The village is cordoned off, everyone is driven to their homes, and a total simultaneous check of every person, house, phone, electronic device, etc. begins. They don't have time to pass on information that there is a raid in the village, what is happening, how it is happening. There is a total sweep of everything and they are looking for those who transmit data," the deputy summarized.
