Russians have only one road left through Armyansk connecting Crimea with occupied territory of Ukraine, military analyst Hetman reports
Veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war and reserve major of Ukraine’s National Guard, Oleksiy Hetman, believes that soon Crimea will be under the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
He expressed this opinion during the broadcast of the program "Verdict with Sergiy Rudenko" on the Espreso TV.
"Ukraine's task is to cut off and make the supply from Crimea impossible. Russians have only one road left through Armyansk. I believe that the Russians no longer plan to undermine the Titan ammonia plant. If they blow it up, the occupiers themselves will cut off their ability to enter and exit Crimea. When the Armed Forces of Ukraine reach the coast of the Azov Sea, then we will cut off Crimea by land from the mainland part of the Russian Federation. And then nothing can be imported into Crimea," explained Hetman.
According to the military analyst, Crimea will find itself surrounded and under the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"After successful actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Crimea, only the Kerch Bridge and the landing ships will remain, which they convert into cargo and transport vessels. But with the weapons we have, we will be able to sink those ships. The situation for the Russians is critical. Crimea will be surrounded. Only by sea will it be possible to transport anything, but this will not allow them to replenish the forces present there. The entire Crimea will be under our fire control," emphasized Hetman.
- On the night of June 22, the Russian occupiers claimed an explosion on the Chongar Bridge near temporarily occupied Crimea. The Russians accuse Ukraine of this."
