Russian troops use less equipment for attacks due to weather conditions - Lieutenant Colonel Fito
Volodymyr Fito, Head of Public Relations of Ukraine's Land Forces Command, said that due to the deteriorating weather conditions, Russian invaders are launching fewer attacks with the support of heavy armored vehicles
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Of course, the weather has made its own adjustments to the course of hostilities. The invaders began to use less heavy equipment to attack Ukrainian positions, as it is almost impossible to advance on such ground. Accordingly, in those areas of the front where there is a greater distance between positions, the enemy used equipment to organize assaults. In particular, they deployed personnel, who were then thrown into assault operations. Currently, there are fewer such maneuvers by the invaders due to deteriorating weather conditions," said Fito.
The colonel emphasized that weather conditions affect the logistics of both sides.
"The weather affects the logistics of the frontline, both Ukrainian and Russian. Our main task is to make sure that the weather helps us and hinders the enemy. We are doing everything possible to make the invaders lose the desire to fight and the maximum they could do is surrender," he added.
