Russian troops set up positions on rooftops and shoot at people trying to get out of water trap - Kherson Regional Council deputy Khlan
Kherson Regional Council deputy Serhiy Khlan noted that Russian occupiers have placed positions on the roofs of flooded houses in the left-bank Kherson region and are firing at people trying to escape
He said this on the Esprsso TV channel
"On the left bank, the occupiers do not help people trapped in the water and do not allow our volunteers and international organizations to help. They refused to allow the UN mission to evacuate people from the flooded left bank of the Dnipro River. People are left on their own," Khlan said.
According to the deputy of the Kherson regional council, the number of civilian casualties on the left bank of the Dnipro in the Khersonn region is growing.
"Yesterday, the occupiers fired at three boats with civilians who were crossing from the left bank to the right. Three people were killed and 10 people were injured. The Russian occupiers have placed positions on the heights and on the roofs of buildings and are firing at people trying to escape the water trap," Khlan stressed.
On June 6, invading Russian troops blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant, completely destroying it.
