Russian troops continue to detonate mines and shells at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, Energoatom
In Energodar at Zaporizhzhi NPP the Russian invaders detonate mines and shells, and they exert pressure on the station workers.
Energoatom reported this.
Energodar and Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant are under the control of the Russian invaders. As of the morning of March 16, about 50 units of Russian equipment, military, explosives and weapons were placed at the station.
“The invaders continue to detonate shells and mines on the station that had not exploded when they fired on it. The explosions can be heard far outside the NPP site,” Energoatom said.
All six ZNPP units are serviced by Ukrainian personnel, and rotations may take place. Formally, the Russians do not interfere in the work of nuclear power plants, but all technical decisions staff must agree with the commander of the invaders.
“The workers of the station are under strong psychological pressure by the invaders, all personnel at the station are carefully checked by armed terrorists on arrival. As a result, nuclear and radiation safety is under threat,” Energoatom said.
