Russian troops launch 80 assault operations per day in Tavria direction for three days in row
Russian troops are escalating assault operations in the Tavria operational area. Additionally, there has been an uptick in the number of air strikes
Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, reported the information.
"The occupiers show no signs of decreasing the number of combat clashes in the operational area of the Tavria grouping of troops. For three days in a row - about 80 assaults daily. Most of them take place in the Donetsk region. Assault groups typically consist of up to 20 people. They are taking action, supported by armored vehicles, among other things," the commander notes.
According to him, yesterday, December 14, the frequency of air strikes rose once more, with Russia employing aerial bombs.
In the operation area of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, invading Russian forces launched 15 air strikes, 631 artillery attacks, and engaged in 76 combat clashes.
"Ukrainian soldiers are holding the defense steadfastly. Total enemy losses amounted to 414 people over the last day. They destroyed 23 pieces of military equipment. In particular, 1 tank, 10 armored personnel carriers, 2 artillery systems, 3 ATGMs, 1 UAV, 4 vehicles, 2 units of special equipment and 2 ammunition depots were destroyed. Another 20 units of enemy equipment were damaged," informed Tarnavskyi.
