Russian troops abandon infantry assaults on Avdiivka after being repulsed
Maksym Morozov, officer with the Freedom Legion of Freedom, says that the Russian forces failed to implement the plan to capture Avdiivka
He said this on Espreso TV.
"In the Avdiivka sector, the Russian enemy suspended massive assaults, having received a decent rebuff from the Resistance Forces. The invading forces are currently regrouping. The number of attacks has also decreased, and they can be counted. Because in recent days there has been a huge number of enemy shelling and air strikes. The Russians have even abandoned infantry attacks," emphasized Morozov.
According to a Freedom Legion officer, the invading Russian forces are currently trying to gain a foothold in the gray areas they managed to recapture.
"But this is not critical. The Russian troops will still have to leave the gray zone they have expanded. And this indicates that the invaders did not fulfill their plan to capture or surround Avdiivka," Morozov emphasized.
