Russian forces pound Vinnytsia center with rocket attack injuring over 100 people
A baby and her mother were among those killed: Russian forces fired rockets at a building housing a shopping center and office premises in Vinnytsia
On the morning of July 14, occupying Russian forces launched a rocket attack on Vinnytsia. They hit a shopping center, an office center and a large parking lot. The shelling hit almost the center of the city.
"There are numerous residential buildings and infrastructure facilities nearby: a school, an educational institution, a medical institution. This is almost the center of Vinnytsia. The military facility is located 1.5 km away. Russia's target was the railway infrastructure, and but their attack landed among the civilian population," said Deputy of the Vinnytsia Regional Council Andriy Hyzhko.
The National Police reports that about 90 more victims sought medical help as a result of the morning shelling of Vinnytsia. 50 of them are in serious condition. About 150 rescuers, psychologists work on site.
