Russian forces interrogate Ukrainians using polygraph in occupied territories

"The Russian forces use a polygraph for selective interrogations of Ukrainians who cross the administrative border between the temporarily occupied Crimea and Kherson region," the statement said.

"Citizens of Ukraine whom Russian occupiers consider suspicious, are taken to a separate room for interrogation," the National Emergency Service added.

They noted that this mainly concerns Ukrainians who have not received a Russian passport.

• On 13 July, human rights activists told about torture chambers in the Kherson region where the Russian occupiers held women. They were subjected to electroshock, suffocation and other forms of torture.
