Russian forces destroy passports of Ukrainians in Kherson region

On Espreso TV, Pohomii noted that in case of refusal to receive a Russian passport, the Russian troops take away and torture local residents.

“There are cases when the occupiers meet people on the street, ask for a passport, and if they see that it is a Ukrainian passport, they simply tear it or tear out the page with the registration. They continue to go door to door and force people to take their passports – either you take it or they will take you away and torture you. They will oppress our people on the left bank until the end, until it is liberated,” the MP said. 

• On May 12, the Russian army shelled Kherson and the region's settlements. There are dead and wounded among the civilian population.
