Attack on an air defence unit in Crimea

On May 13, at around 6am, several missiles attacked a Russian air defence unit on Mount Ai-Petri in southern Crimea. The unit's commander was reportedly killed.

As a result of the attack, the territory of the military unit 85683 was damaged, and the commander Alexander Kulakov and another military officer were killed.

Preliminary, the attack was carried out by Storm Shadow missiles, ASTRA writes.

The South Coast Radar is the most famous military facility in Velyka Yalta.

Russia's Belgorod and Lipetsk regions attacked by Ukrainian drones

On the night of May 13, drones hit an oil depot and a power substation in Russia's Belgorod and Lipetsk regions. Ukraine's Security Service (known by Ukrainian acronym SBU) was behind the attack

That night, SBU drones were actively operating in Russia's Lipetsk and Belgorod regions.

The attacks resulted in fires at the Oskolneftpostachannya oil depot near the town of Stary Oskol in the Belgorod region, as well as at the 500 kV Eletskaya substation in the Lipetsk region.

According to media sources, the affected power substation supplies traction substations of the Russian railroad, the Stanovaya oil pumping station, and ensures transit between the Lipetsk, Oryol, and Bryansk power grids.

Germany's IRIS-T air defence system will be in Ukraine in May
