On the evening of January 30, Russian forces struck a residential building in the Krasnopillia community of Sumy region with a 'kamikaze' drone. According to preliminary reports, two people sustained injuries of varying severity.

Kyiv city update

On the morning of January 31, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that in the Obolon district, debris from a drone had allegedly shattered windows and damaged a balcony in a high-rise apartment building.

"Rescuers and medics are on site. No casualties have been reported," he stated.

Later, Kyiv City Military Administration Chief Tymur Tkachenko clarified that reports of Russian drone debris hitting a building in the Obolon district were not confirmed.

"According to the situational center, a short circuit in an air conditioner damaged a refrigerant pipeline connecting the external and internal units. A balcony window was also broken. The incident is unrelated to an enemy attack. No casualties," Tkachenko noted.

Aftermath in Cherkasy

The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, reported that in Cherkasy, the wreckage of a Shahed drone damaged a balcony in one of the apartments of a high-rise building.

"A fire broke out afterward but has already been extinguished. Law enforcement officers have seized the drone fragments and the warhead. Fortunately, the residents are fine and did not require medical assistance," Taburets said.

Russian attack on Odesa region

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported that Russian forces attacked Chornomorsk with drones. The city hospital, a private residential house, an administrative building, a grain warehouse, and cargo trucks were damaged.

"Four people were injured, one of them a doctor who was performing surgery during the Russian strikes. All the wounded are in moderate condition. Two are hospitalized, and the others are receiving outpatient treatment," reported the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

Additionally, due to the Russian strike, there are issues with electricity supply for part of Chornomorsk and its suburbs.

"DTEK specialists are already working on restoring power to homes. All other emergency services are working on eliminating the effects of the attack. Law enforcement is documenting the consequences of yet another Russian crime against the civilian population of Odesa," Kiper added.

Damage in Khmelnytskyi region

According to the head of Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration Serhiy Tyurin, windows, facades, and fences of three private houses were damaged in a drone attack on Khmelnytskyi region.
