As reported by the police in Tromsø, the ship is registered in Norway and owned by the country. The Latvian authorities requested its detention.
The vessel was detained on the evening of January 30 and arrived at the port of Tromsø this morning.
A police press release confirmed that all crew members are Russian citizens. Currently, law enforcement officers are on board conducting searches, interrogations, and gathering evidence.

Silver Dania is owned by the Bergen-based shipping company Silver Sea. The vessel was built in 1989 and is registered in Norway. It is 113.4 meters long and 17.75 meters wide.
