150 clashes occur at front on Jan. 30: Ukrainian forces repel 71 attacks in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m.

Yesterday, the Russian army launched one missile strike and 55 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, in particular, dropped 102 guided bombs. In addition, they used nearly 2,767 ‘kamikaze’ drones and fired over 6,500 times, including 127 times from multiple launch rocket systems, the General Staff reported.

The General Staff added that yesterday the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted one strike on a Russian manpower concentration, three strikes on command posts, two on air defense systems, and seven on other key Russian targets.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, one combat clash took place near Lyptsi over the past day. Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks near Petropavlivka, Zahryzove, and Nova Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman sector, eleven combat clashes occurred near Kopanky, Novoliubivka, Balka Zhuravka, Yampolivka, Zelena Dolyna, Terny, and Kolodiazi.

In the Siversk sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions nine times near Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled ten Russian attempts to advance near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Stupochky, Chasiv Yar, and Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses 13 times near Toretsk, Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka, and Krymske.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 71 attacks. Russian troops attempted to advance near Malynivka, Yelizavetivka, Vodyane Druhe, Novotoretske, Andriivka, Zvirove, Promin, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Yasenove, Shevchenko, and Dachne.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian forces continue to resist Russian attempts to breach their defensive lines, repelling two assaults near Kostiantynopil and Rozlyv.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian troops attacked four times near Novopil and Novosilka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian forces repelled seven attacks.

In the Kursk region, 11 combat clashes took place yesterday. The Russian army carried out 17 airstrikes using 22 guided bombs and fired over 360 times, including three times from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive actions.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian army is actively shelling Ukrainian settlements using artillery from within Russian territory.
