“This package, worth almost €200 million, was developed in close cooperation with the Ukrainians. We are providing precisely the support that will help Ukraine defend itself in the critical situation on the front line. This support must not weaken; on the contrary, it must be further strengthened at this moment,” said Finnish Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen.
For operational reasons and to ensure the safe delivery of the aid, no details regarding the exact contents or delivery timelines have been disclosed by the Finnish ministry.
The ministry added that the total value of defense equipment Finland has provided to Ukraine now amounts to €2.5 billion.
