Ukraine's defense sector is priority number 1, 2, and 3
Now they are actively discussing Ukraine's fate in the Biden-Trump-Michelle Obama triangle and the implications of each scenario
I recommend shifting focus from the American scene to the Ukrainian one. Understand that every US president will have pros and cons for us, especially if multi-level diplomacy falters.
However, every US president will support a country with the potential for success because being involved in success is American politicians' religion. So, let's focus on Ukraine's opportunities and immediate needs, and demand the following from our current leaders:
- Our own military equipment should be priorities number 1, 2, and 3. There are no other priorities. We need to fund our top domestic weapons manufacturers at 110%, with daily inquiries from officials: "What more can we do to help?"
- We need diplomatic efforts to finance our military industry through our partners, especially when Ukraine can produce more weapons for the same cost as Western manufacturers. It’s tough, but if it becomes everyone's top task, we will see results.
- We should create joint enterprises with the military industries of partner countries. European nations, now focused on their security, value Ukraine's battlefield experience against Russia and are ready to cooperate.
Once the government grasps this, or active society compels them to, we'll worry less about who becomes the US president. For now, "it is what it is," with an American accent.
