Stoltenberg never wanted peace. He wants more NATO money laundering: media fakes for July 8
Ukraine's Centre for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of anti-Ukrainian narratives that were launched by the world media on July 8
This was reported by Espreso TV.
According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, two fakes were published on media and social media on July 8.
Disinformation: Australian blogger Semyon Boykov wrote on his X (Twitter) page: "NATO: "If you want talks, we need more war". FACT: Stoltenberg never wanted peace. He wants more NATO money laundering through the corrupt Zelenskyy regime."
Refutation: This statement reflects the Kremlin's narrative aimed at discrediting Ukraine's Western partners and their military support, which helps Ukrainian defenders to deter Russian occupation troops.
Disinformation: Former U.S. intelligence officer Scott Ritter wrote in the U.S. edition of Consortium News: "Ambassador Lukashevich lamented that the conflict in Ukraine, beginning with the 2014 Maidan coup that saw Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich ousted by U.S. and E.U.-backed Ukrainian nationalists, has undermined and destroyed all three of the Istanbul Summits crowning achievements."
Refutation: Scott Ritter's statement distorts events, as the 2014 Revolution of Dignity in Ukraine was a popular protest against the corruption and authoritarianism of the pro-Russian president, not a "coup organized by the U.S. or the E.U.". The war in Ukraine is caused by Russian aggression, not by the democratic aspirations of Ukrainians.
