Xi Jinping: China ready to boost strategic cooperation with North Korea
Chinese President Xi Jinping has signalled his commitment to deepening strategic communication and cooperation with North Korea, pledging stronger ties and broader collaboration between the two nations

Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and North Korea.
"In this new era and under new circumstances, China is prepared to work closely with North Korea, seizing the opportunity of our 75th anniversary to strengthen strategic communication and coordination, and to deepen our friendly exchanges and cooperation," Xi said in the message.
He stressed his personal commitment to the development of China-North Korea relations and emphasized that under his leadership, China stands ready to advance the socialist cause alongside Pyongyang.
It was also noted that Kim Jong Un, in his own message, assured the Chinese leader of North Korea’s willingness to continue building strong ties of friendly cooperation with China.
