Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated this during a press conference with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský.
"We see Trump's win as a chance to advance the peace process through this approach," Sybiha said.
He added that, based on this approach, Kyiv hopes to build relations with the new U.S. administration.
Sybiha also noted that Ukraine has strong bipartisan support in the U.S. and backing from Americans.
- On November 20, the United States announced a new $275 million military aid package for Ukraine, marking the 70th tranche of U.S. support.
