Russian forces deploy numerous air defense systems near Kerch bridge - Ukraine's Navy
Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk has commented on the transportation of S-300 missiles to air defense systems near the Kerch bridge
He spoke about this on the Espreso TV channel.
“They actually need to replenish their stocks, because these complexes do not remain idle in Crimea. The Russians have really brought a fairly large number of air defense systems there, large air defense, as they call it. And they are doing it for a reason. They need missiles, it's not a coincidence,” Pletenchuk said.
The Russians are protecting the Kerch bridge and are now taking care of it more than some equally important facilities in the Russian Federation itself, the navy spokesman said: “They are well aware of that, and we are well aware of that. But you can see that this sacralized bridge has an unclear significance - more ideological or purely logistical. They are really trying to protect it as much as possible. So yes, they need missiles,” he added.
