"Russia's proposals imply possibility of ending war in Ukraine": Russian fakes on June 25
Ukraine's Centre for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of anti-Ukrainian fakes and manipulations that Russian propagandists spread on June 25
This was reported by Espreso TV.
According to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on June 25, Russian media launched fresh disinformation and manipulations.
Disinformation: Russian leader Vladimir Putin said: "Russia's peace proposals actually provide for the possibility of ending the conflict in Ukraine".
Refutation: Putin's "peace proposals" are an ultimatum that is completely unacceptable to Ukraine. All attempts to impose the image of a "peacemaker" on Putin are doomed to failure, as Russia's goal is not to end the war, but to destroy Ukraine.
Manipulation: Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "The peace plan for Ukraine should take into account the situation on the frontline."
Refutation: Peskov continues to distort reality in an attempt to legitimize Russian aggression and portray it as something to be reckoned with. Such statements are also doomed to fail, as they contradict the fundamentals of a just end to the war.
- On June 25, French President Emmanuel Macron said that he did not rule out the possibility of continuing dialogue with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
