Russian military order to transport ammunition by civilian vehicles in Donetsk region — Atesh guerillas
In the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region, the Russian command ordered the use of civilian equipment for military purposes
The Atesh guerrilla movement posted a message on Telegram.
“An agent of the Atesh movement from among the Russian Armed Forces in the Donetsk region reported that the Russian command ordered artillery units to use civilian transport for military purposes. This order prohibits the use of military uniforms and insignia to disguise themselves as local residents,” the guerrillas said.
Ammunition is ordered to be transported in cars, trailers or minibuses, with a limit of 10 shells per vehicle.
“These actions are a gross violation of the Geneva Convention and the rules of warfare, as well as another crime of the occupying Russian forces. Such methods not only endanger the civilian population, but also serve as a tool for provocations aimed at accusing the Ukrainian Defense Forces,” Atesh emphasized.
- In December 2024, the Atesh guerrilla movement recorded the transfer of military equipment to the Kurakhove direction of the Donetsk region.
