Russian pilots attacking Ukraine have no heating
Military pilots stationed at the Millerovo airfield in the Rostov region, Russia, are reportedly facing issues with heating and have requested firewood. However, they are experiencing difficulties with their superiors
Former military pilot, captain of the Russian Armed Forces Ilya Tumanov posted the request on January 8 on his Telegram channel Fighterbomber.
"Aviators need help. They are f*cking freezing. We need firewood for furnaces at Millerovo airfield. The amount is not specified, but I think the more the better. I will give you contacts, write to me in person. If someone has a live 65 battery for a Gazelle, it would be great to ship it there as well," Tumanov wrote.
Later, he deleted his message, explaining that there were already people willing to help. At the same time, the management of the Russian airfield was not happy about the request for firewood.
"I deleted the post. The issue has been resolved, the guys will have a battery and firewood provided by subscribers, but now they will also have to deal with the c*** from their bosses. But it's better than freezing," Tumanov wrote.
