Russia sends SMS to Ukrainians in occupied territories, urging them to join Russian army
Russia is sending SMS messages to Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories, calling for them to sign a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense
The National Resistance Center of Ukraine reported the information on August 5.
Russia states in the messages that those who sign a contract with the Russian army will receive payments "from 800 thousand rubles and benefits." Russia also includes the hotline number of its Ministry of Defense, which is open for "questions about the special military operation."
"But in the temporarily occupied Crimea, in order to fulfill the plan to mobilize the local population, the collaborators involve volunteers in the propaganda campaign. There are two volunteers working in each commissariat there, who tell each military volunteer about all the benefits of becoming fertilizer for Ukrainian black soil," the National Resistance Center adds.
