Russia disrupts networks in occupied territories to hinder data flow to Ukrainian Armed Forces — National Resistance Center
Russian forces in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are jamming mobile communications and the Internet so that Ukrainians cannot transmit information about their movement to the Ukrainian army
The National Resistance Center reported the information.
"Despite the claims of Russian propaganda, the occupiers are aware of the reality that they are only invaders and do not enjoy the support of the locals. Therefore, the enemy jams communications so that Ukrainians do not pass on information to the Defense Forces about the movement of Russians," the Center said.
In particular, Russia is massively jamming communications in the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region, to hide its actions.
However, the report underscores that the decision does not yield the intended results, given that the Russians cannot entirely cut off communication with Ukrainian citizens.
"Ukrainians are the majority in the temporarily occupied territories, constantly transmitting information about the state of affairs in their native land," the Center emphasized.
- Earlier, the National Resistance Center reported that Russian-appointed authorities plan to introduce a module in schools temporarily under their occupation to study drone technology, design features and assembly, for military purposes.
