Russia deploys reserves to maintain pace of offensive in eastern Ukraine - ISW
The Russian army is likely to engage tactical and operational reserves in the fighting in eastern Ukraine to maintain and intensify the tempo of offensive operations
The Institute for the Study of War writes about this.
It is noted that Ukrainian military observer Kostiantyn Mashovets said on March 14 that the Russian military command was deploying tactical and operational reserves for offensive operations in the Lyman direction, near Bakhmut, as well as in the west and southwest of Donetsk region.
According to him, many of the reservists were meant to exploit a Russian breakthrough of Ukrainian defenses, and not necessarily to support ongoing Russian offensive operations aimed at stabilizing Ukraine's defensive positions.
Instead, he emphasized that the Russian forces still possess appropriate reserves for further intensive offensive operations, but that these reserves would likely not be sufficient to allow the Russian military to collapse Ukrainian defenses.

UK intelligence analyzed the situation at the front and suggested that the coming weeks could be difficult for the Ukrainian army.
