Russia deploys about 30,000 troops from Ukraine to Kursk region - Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced that the Russian military leadership has decided to redeploy approximately 30,000 troops from Ukraine to the Kursk region

"Currently, we can confirm that approximately 30,000 servicemen have already been redeployed to the Kursk direction, and this number is continuing to increase," Syrskyi said.
He added that the Ukrainian Defense Forces' operations in the Kursk region have effectively diverted a significant number of Russian troops, prompting Russia to attempt to withdraw some military units from other areas.
Ukraine controls 1,294 square kilometres in the Kursk region
Since the beginning of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' military operation in Kursk region, the Ukrainian military has taken control of 100 settlements, 1,294 square kilometres.
"As of today, we continue to advance, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on Russian troops," the Commander-in-Chief said.
In addition, 594 Russian servicemen have already been captured due to the successful actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
