Russia claims to have shot down 24 drones over 7 regions

The Russian Ministry of Defense reports on August 26.

According to the ministry, 9 drones were shot down over the territory of Saratov region, 3 - over the territory of Kursk region, 2 - over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk and Tula regions, and one UAV was destroyed over the territories of Orel and Ryazan regions.

The Russian Telegram channel Astra claims, citing a statement by the governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, that in Saratov, the wreckage of a drone fell on a 38-story building in the Volga Sky residential complex, which is the tallest building in the Volga region. 

The house is 12 kilometers from the flight military unit and the military airfield in Engels.

According to the Mash Telegram channel, at least twenty cars were damaged in the city of Engels, Saratov region, as a result of a UAV hitting the house. The wreckage fell directly on the parking lot in the yard, and there are allegedly 4 victims.

• On August 26, it was revealed that Russian soldiers had built a pontoon crossing of the Seim River in the Kursk region after Ukrainian Defense Forces had hit the third bridge at that location.
