Political expert Rozumnyi: West starts undermining legitimacy of Putin's regime
Political analyst Maksym Rozumnyi argues that the West is actively betting on undermining Putin's regime, aiming for its gradual collapse
Rozumnyi shared his views on Espreso.
He stated, "There's no explicit indication yet that our Western allies refuse to recognize Putin's legitimacy. However, it's clear they're not inclined to negotiate with him. It appears to me that a concerted effort is underway to erode the legitimacy of the Russian government. Recent global political rankings reflect this sentiment, with Navalny’s wife Yulia in first place. It is already signaling a shift in how Russia is perceived."
The expert highlighted that Russia is getting exhausted in the war with Ukraine, posing a threat to Putin's rule.
"All signs point to the eventual transformation of Russia's regime through conventional Western means. As the regime's legitimacy wanes and Russia faces increasing strain, Putin's grip on power will weaken. Moreover, the imposed sanctions further undermine the Russian Federation," he elaborated.
