Russian shelling of Kherson region leaves several injured, including children
On December 28, Russian troops shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson twice, injuring two men. Later, the Russian army attacked the town of Bilozerka in the Kherson region with artillery, injuring eight people, including two children

Shelling of Kherson
The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that a man was injured in the shelling of the Dniprovskyi district. He was diagnosed with mine-blast trauma and contusions. Around 10:30, Russian forces attacked a car with a drone in the same district. A man was injured, suffering mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds.
Shelling of Bilozerka
At 14:04, Kherson Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin confirmed that Russian forces shelled the town of Bilozerka with artillery. By 14:48, the number of people injured in this attack had risen to eight, including two children.
- Ihor Lapin, a special forces officer, member of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and former member of the parliament, said that the Russian foothold on the right bank of the Dnipro would allow Russia to capture Kherson.
