Kim sends elite fighters to Russia. Ukraine releases notes by North Korean soldier killed in Kursk
The North Korean special forces operator, killed by Ukraine's Special Operations Forces in Kursk, left behind a notebook revealing that North Korea sent not just regular soldiers, but elite fighters to Russia
The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces command reports this.
Private Gyeong Hong Jong writes that for some offense he was sent by order of Kim Jong Un thousands of kilometers away to assist Russian troops.
He believed he was defending North Korea in the Kursk region.
"I was raised in the bosom of the blessed party, educated to the fullest without worrying about anything in this world. There is more unknown love than known and accepted love. I didn’t know how to respond to the happiness that surrounded me. Since defending the homeland is the sacred duty of a citizen, and the greatest duty is the defense of the homeland, which is the source of all my happiness, I wear the military uniform of revolution to protect the supreme commander. I was blessed with the opportunity to be promoted to the position of chief sergeant in my company. However, I betrayed the party that trusted me and committed ingratitude against the supreme commander.
The sins I committed are unforgivable, but my homeland has given me a path to rebirth, a new start in life. Now, I have no choice but to regain the trust I once had. I will go to the front lines in this operation, and I will unquestioningly carry out the orders of the supreme commander Kim Jong Un, even if it costs me my life. I will show the world the invincible courage and sacrifice of Kim Jong Un’s Red Special Forces (Red Commanders). When we win the war and return to our homeland, I will submit a petition to the party," reads the diary of private Jong.
