Poland on day two of search for “unknown object” from August 26 Russian attack
On Monday, August 26, an unidentified object, likely a drone that crossed the border from Ukraine during a Russian attack, was detected over Polish territory near the Tyszowce commune. The search for the object has been ongoing for two days

According to the report, more than a hundred soldiers are involved in the search for the object.
According to the spokesperson for the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Jacek Goryszewski, search teams continue to survey the area in the Tyszowce commune, expanding the search area.
"We will cover a similar area, because yesterday we searched the territory towards the west. The next sectors for the search teams have already been identified. Of course, if possible, we will support these searches from the air. We will inform about the results in real time," he said.
As the object disappeared from radar on August 26 at around 7a.m., the military speculated that it could have left the country.
Sejm Speaker Szymon Hołownia suggested that the object may have been just a meteorological anomaly visible on radar.
